CNECT's History
Since 1979, CNECT Group Purchasing has partnered with health centers and businesses to forge lasting relationships built on the concerted effort to reduce operational expenses and free-up funds that would in-turn lead to healthier communities.
For over 40 years, CNECT, formerly Council Connections, has honed in on our relationship building aspect, refined our approach and expanded our reach through partnering with Premier, Inc.
Throughout our long history, CNECT has delivered superior service and enhanced the financial strength of our over 8,000 members nationwide. Although we have experienced tremendous growth, we are proud to have maintained our personal approach and unwavering dedication to each and every member, allowing us to stand out as a leader among group purchasing organizations.

Council of Community Clinics Service Corp. was established as a medical and laboratory supply co-op to assist the member organizations of their parent company, Council of Community Clinics, throughout San Diego.
2002
As part of a strategy to enhance customer experience, Council Connections adds a customer service department and launches a new website based on the needs of their members.
2006
Council Connections joins Premier Purchasing Partners LP. Members gain access to more than 2,000 contracts and deeper discounts, marking a continuum of growth and commitment to providing greater savings for members.
